Hakeem Ogunniran is a leading thought leader on African real estate structuring, funding and delivery and has been described as having a ‘unique understanding of the connection between financial models, capitalmarkets and brick and mortar all within the context of Africa’s complex and challenging operating environment. He possesses extensive experience in capital raising, having led five major capital raises including the floatation of a Real Estate Investment Trust over an eight-year period. Ogunniran is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Eximia Realty Co Ltd, Home for Me Nigeria Ltd, Mercury Nominees Investments Ltd and Maestro Property Solutions Ltd. He is also the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lagos Building Investment Co. Plc and a Non-Executive Director of a few other companies.
TOLA AKINHAMI
Executive & Head Real Estate Finance, Stanbic IBTC Capital (WestAfrica)
Tola is an investment banker and has had various roles within corporate and investment banking wit specializations in Real Estate Finance and Project and Structured Finance. He has over ten years of in-country and regional work experience (including Nigeria, Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire) which spans across various asset classes (with an estimated portfolio size over US$1.2 billion) within the real estate sector in the leading financial institution in Africa (in terms of market capitalisation). In addition, his project finance deal mandates include debt capital raising for major infrastructural projects in the oil & gas and industrial sectors. His early work experience include treasury operations and commercial banking roles in Fidelity Bank and Intercontinental Bank (now Access Bank)in Nigeria respectively. Tola has a first degree in Economics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and master degree in International Money, Finance & Investments from Durham University, UK. He obtained a RICS Postgraduate Diploma in Project Managementand MBA in Real Estate & Construction Management from the University College of Estate Management, Reading, UK.

Annamari Uys is a Director within the Turner & Townsend Africa Consulting & Advisory Business where she provides Transaction Advisory and Strategic Facilities Management (FM) Advisory services to both Public and Private Sector clients. She is specifically focused on Public Private Partnership (PPP) / Alternative Procurement Projects. In her role at Turner & Townsend she is responsible for developing Turner & Townsend's PPP / FM business within Africa to provide strategic support to Gov ernments and Government departments undertaking PPP projects. Additionally, Annamari advises Funder's & Investors and Private Sector Consortia on PPP Projects. As she provides best practice gained from Turner & Townsend PPP business units internationally to develop project strategies and support the development of client’s own knowledge and expertise in this specialist area. Her sector experience include accommodation, custodial, hospital, water and transport projects.
